While in New York last month, I went to the Marc Jacobs accessory store, a great place for souvenirs and fun accessories. I was looking for a larger, sturdy bag to hold my DSLR and a few lenses, but I wanted something that would double as big purse—my Crumpler and LowePro bags are more function than fashion. A pair of duffles behind the counter caught my eye and I asked to see one. I saw the label declaring itself a ukulele bag. I love bags that multitask. This one was coming home to California with me. The MJ salesman said I was the first person to buy the bag who actually played the ukuele.
